FAQ

Stafford Robinson Photo Safaris

“Africa is mystic; it is wild; it is a sweltering inferno; it is a photographer’s paradise, a hunter’s Valhalla, an escapist’s Utopia.” – Beryl Markham

Are Children Welcome

Unfortunately, with the nature of the bush and wildlife photography, children (under the age of 18 years old)  are not allowed on the tours.

Can you accomodate my diet

Absolutely. Please communicate your requirements and our chefs will be happy to accomodate.

What is included in the price

Everything! you dont put your hand in your pocket for anything.... Food, accomodation, transport, games park fees, wine, beer and tips; all included!

Unless of course you want some exotic liquor that is only produced in an exclusive island of the coast of tahiti...

So... included are internal flights, transport, accomodation, alcohol (if you have a specific poison, please let us know), all meals.

Are non photographers welcome

Absolutely! non photographers generally create a well rounded group where dinners are spent talking about a variety of subjects and give a welcome respite from a completely photographer riddled conversation. So partners are most welcome! on teh condition that they promise not to shoot better photographs with their iphone than the photographers (yes thats a joke)!

Is it Safe

South Africa generally gets a rough deal with the overseas media. As a New Zealander I have lived here over 40 years and never come into contact with violent crime.

in the game reserve.... once again in 40 years of visiting the bush I have never had a negative incident with  wildlife. It's all about being respectful of the environment in which you are in, remembering they are wild animals and giving them space when needed... listening to the communication the animal give.
